I got kinda bored yesterday, and since my car is not running, Im driving my truck, so I figured I should wash it! Ive had this truck since I was 14 (Ill be 21 in August) I got it for 250 bucks, with a blown motor, and tired tranny. I took a 350 4 Bolt Main out of a 68 Chevelle, and put a RV cam in it, and 2.02 heads on it, and called it good. Took the TH400, and put a B&M stage 2 shift kit in it, and that took care of the tranny. It has a Dana rearend with 4.10 gears and posi. Oh yeah.. it's a 1970 Chevy 3/4 ton Camper Special. It has mismatching wheels right now, because im swapping the other tires over to different wheels. It gets about.. I dunno.. 5 miles to the gallon at 55. Ive put this truck through alot, and it just smiles and asks for more. I can peg the 100 mph speedo without problems.. it moves pretty damn good for being so heavy. So, heres the pics. I might take pics of the motor, after I clean it! Its been kinda neglected, and I have a new carb to put on it, so its not pretty under the hood.







And this little thing showed up in the stove this morning. So I snapped a few pics of it. I think bats are freaking cool... Bats the animal.. not that lame movie with Lou Diamond Phillips!

Nice truck....I've always had a thing for that style of chev pick up. I knew a guy who had a 71 longbox running high 12's...loooked like yours, but it was burgundy.

 

Yeah, that is a nice truck. The way Joe began to describe it, I was expecting to see something...ugly. Good looking truck, Rosh.

Umm...those bat pics. Is that bat alive? Did it pose for you or did you just taunt it to **** it off to pose like that? LOL. Cute lil thing but looks hungry for blood!

Bat poo-poo is called Guana. It's supposed to be amazingly good for plants. Joe could become rich and famous for being a Guana Farmer!
