I remember back in the early 2000’s the “cascade crew” forum and group and a few meet ups. It would be cool to get a big third gen group together locally.

Re: and local PDX guys???
Not only am I here, I'm also available for repairs and tuning if anyone local needs services. I'm in the process of installing my new in-ground DynoJet which should be operational around mid-March. My shop is in the SE/Milwaukie area. I have an AutoProm and am running EBL on my daily. We can also build, repair, modify, or tune just about anything between myself and the tuners I have access to. My dyno is the 424XLC2 formerly installed at PSI in Hillsboro.

No way, what part of milwaukie? I’m right off the end of river road. Coincidentally I have 2 92 Z28’s I need tuning done on.

Nice. Yeah you should bring those Z's in for some dyno time once we get it back together. They were going to cut the concrete for the 18' x 14' x 3' pit this last weekend, but the concrete guys got scared by the storm prediction and canceled on us. Said they didn't want to move the heavy equipment in the ice/snow.

Been lurking here for a few years, first time i thought to check the regional forums though.
I'm in Aloha.
I've have a 91RS that i'm part time wrenching on in the slack time between my other JDM Camaro projects, aka 1st gen 300ZX, Z31.
So far replaced the red fabric interior with black from 3rd gen ranch and currently fighting water leaks.

Re: and local PDX guys???
Sadly, these aren't tuner friendly as the Z32 though. Z31's get no love in the aftermarket.
Eventually i'll run a Nistune piggyback and tune with that. I have the tools to install them but not tune. Ever worked with those? I'd love to have it/them tuned when it's time.
I work pretty near to where PSI used to be and was surprised when they just shut down, but a coworker with a subie kinda filled me in.

Re: and local PDX guys???
Oh! Yeah the LINK board is for the Z32's. The one we did was a 91 from Japan. But we can still do a LINK on the Z31 with an adapter harness, etc. The Nistune stuff is basically still using the factory ECU which is now 30 year old hardware - Jason can tune the Nistune but he would also recommend a LINK.
So yeah - we bought PSI's dyno. Jason O. that operated and partially owned PSI tunes on our dyno and we do a lot of other stuff like Subaru's and such also. I'm the owner and I daily drive an 86 Trans Am that's also running a LINK.
When we moved the dyno we fully upgraded it with a digital stack from DynoJet. All new electronics, wiring, and software.

I feel you there. I did a test drive on my IROC when I purchased it, but due to some severe overheat issues, I only got to be able to do it for about 10 minutes. Now all the rodent damaged interior is out, and the car is mostly torn down. Getting it ready for a 4.8!
Did someone say Dyno!! When I get my 4.8 up, might have to bring it to Milwaukee!

What's up everyone... I'm in Estacada. I'm building a 91 Camaro RS. Doing a BBC swap. It's slow going right now, but I'm looking for other 3rd gen folks in the area to hang out with and learn from. Been working on cars for years.
