I started with this....

Then I went out and took a pic of my car...

Then, I took some other pictures also....

And somehow, I came up with this strange SBC Wankel Powered RXTrans 7AM...

Cross Lace Wheels

Torque Thrust II

91-92 Z28

Its not my best work, but it was fun, and something different from what I normally do.

Nice work Joe, very well done!! You have an artist's eye no doubt.

That reminds me of a job I did for my last employer. We had a spec for a new semi-u blade for a Cat 836G. The blade was developed and designed in Autocad and then rendered in 3-D. The blade was them imposed over an existing machine. This made it possible to market a blade that had yet to be built. This pic was done with good ol MS paint.

The pic is on the www, bottom page:

along with a field service truck I designed:

Man I love the PC

Thanks Don!

Thats a awesome job too, image editing is good fun.

Anyone else notice how well the mirror and door handle/lock look in the RX7?

LOL, that is great. Almost perfect. Get rid of the black rub strip, and make the rear of the side window vertical, and you'd really have a thirdgen clone

you did a good job but the car itself just doesn't fit right

either a ugly f-body or a ugly rx-7
not sure yet

with the base of the rx-7 there it now looks like a mix between a daytona/fiero/f-bod

I say I just need to get an f-body
