Got an awesome connection at 26,400!?

I gotta get the phone guy out here monday. 26400 is the best i can get. Was stuck at 4800 bps till I redialed about 30 times. Makes checkin these boards a long ordeal.

Yeah, I connect at 26.4 pretty much all day.. its fantastic.... not alot I can do about it either....

I had the same problem till a few days ago... now I connect no slower than 38400 and whatnot...

Verizon changed the lil ole box outside where the phone line comes in and it was all that it needed...

They replaced the box outside last week. Couldnt connect at all before that. Usually I connect at 48000 or 49633. Even seen it hit 53000 once. Theres a loud buzzing in the phone now so it looks like I call the phone guy tomorrow. Connected at a whopping 14,400 now! and took awhile to get that.

I regularily run around 27K. If it gets too much slower than that it's not even worthwhile.
