It has a 350 with TPI and is faster and handles better than any car ive ever had including my 73 chevelle.i cant wait for it to get out here sometime around Dec-Jan. I only have a few pics but ill post them. it took some chopping but i managed to shrink it enough to fit so here it is.

Nice ride. A pretty clean-looking Formula - the all-muscle no-fat car that Pontiac should've made from the word go in 1982, not waiting five years to do like they did. Just curious though, are the lights like that becasue you wanted them like that or is there a problem with them? (I never liked them up when they're not on, but that's my opinion.) I'm looking forward to seeing it in person sometime.
ummmmm......yea thats it..... i wanted them up. not really though. thats just one of the things that gives it personality. im trying to fix it but its hard when my bird is in texas. im going home for a while and im going to rebuild the motors. if that doesnt work you can bet ill be posting again.

Pray it isn't the control module, I priced a new one and it ran like 200-something bucks. I need one myself as I have one that works and two cars that require it. Swap action whenever I need to pass safety - I can't find anywhere here that would pass me without the lights functioning properly, even if I left them up!

What's up Rainman? Nice to have ya' around!
They might try some "defective lighting equipment" bs, but as long as your lights do what they are supposed to do (shine light at the appropriate level and wattage/color, etc.) it should pass. And since the factory designed them to "pop up," you don't need a recon for that "mod." HASSLE them, don't take their horse****.
Go print out the requirements if you have to, I carry a copy in my truck which hasn't passed yet. I'm 0 for 7 right now.

Tell them yours is modified to always stay up (and just leave it that way, unplugged). Some places will still give you a hard time but you still pass the requirements so HASSLE them until they pass it. But don't do that if you go there often (or for other cars) or if you have some other things that they looked over.Originally posted by pvt num 11

We'll probably have our second meet by the time you get her in, so we'll all have to hook up.
