Spoiler

Anybody know how much a used/salvage aerowing for an `88 firebird would cost? All your talk of the salvage yards at the bases has got me excited about the possibility of finding a used wing.

How about a fix for rusted out door bottoms on an `82?

Thanks guys,
Jon

Personally, I plan to save up and get a resin one just before I re-paint the car, as the stock ones are not made of the most durable material. Yours is crunchy and has rusted mounts up on the hatch, yes? The resin ones can cost a pretty penny though.

Old crunchy spoilers are perfect to cut apart and use as a model to shape surfboard foam into a new spoiler, cover with matt and cloth, then epoxy resin, prime and paint. Not hard to do at all...

Hey guys,

Thanks for the quick turnaround. I'm going to school on the big island and I'm on the mainland for Christmas break. The car actually belongs to my friend who lives near Honolulu. He's headed back to School in Hilo tomorrow morning but has said his father could probably come and get it for him.

Were you offering the wing for free? He's really excited as we've had absolutely no luck finding anything on the big island.

Thanks again,
Jon
