Ebay ads?? Why not?
I am not trying to cause problems, just concern. I am very leary about buying something from someone I do not know. I am just curious as to why Ebay ads are not permitted?? After all purchasers can tell if the person is trustworthy or not by their feedback, and as long as it is Thirdgen related I really don't understand the reasoning for this at all, and would love to hear a concrete reason. Again not trying to cause problems, just think it would be easier on someone deciding to buy or not.

I am not sure why exacly they prohibited it but I can see it causing problems with half ebay ads and half reg. ones it would be harder to weed through them. You can always just search ebay and find the part.
BTW there is a Classifieds Feedback area and has alot of names good and bad on there you can check up to see who you are buying from by just searching their name.
You can also search and advertise free on Craigslist.com, I use it alot it is nice b/c every thing is local.

Simple answer is because the owner of TGO said that he does not want ANY eBay ads on here. Since Dirk is the owner, he can, and does, run TGO as he sees fit. TGO is the top-rated tech-only third gen site on the net, so he must be doing something right.
