Not sure if this helps any, but I *think* this is the bracket you are looking for. Only pic I could find of it while here at work was one with the p/s pump and alternator on it, but it's highlighted there in red.

It can be found at Scoggin Dicky http://www.sdpc2000.com/
under part number 10105212 with a price tag of $60.78 before shipping.

I ran the part number through gmpartsdirect.com and found it listed at $41.35 +shipping. If I recall correctly that is how I went about putting my serpentine system together rather than buying the kit. The drawback to gmpartsdirect.com, atleast in my dealings with them, is shipping seems to be slow. Though everything has arrived as described and has worked exactly as intended. Don't know why I didn't remember that while I was at work, just thought about it on the drive home.

even better! after you brought up the first post i went searching through my bookmarks but didnt make it to gm parts direct yet. i still want the other kind of brackets though. i think the mid mount brackets look 100x better than the ugly serp bracket...shell out $200 or $50?

Now that makes me wish I would have had my camera at car show a few weeks back. I saw a 55' 2 door hard top with the same serp set on the front. Only it had been powder coated to match the color of the car. Looked awesome. I've also seen quite a few that have just taken some elbow grease and polished up the aluminum and they've turned out really nice too. If you've got a few hours, some buffing compound and buffing wheel, try it out.

well i am going to paint it alumnium with the engine paint i used for my waterpump but i just dont like the way it makes the alt stick above the valve cover and it gives the engine an unbalanced look
