CTS Test Values

Anybody got a table or something that tells what resistances the CTS should have at certian temperatures? I am trying to narrow down a problem with my engine apparently overheating (according to WinALDL datalogs) and I am starting to think bad CTS. Any help would be great!
TIA!

If you have a spare cts you could put it in a pan of water and heat it on your stove top. Watch the resistance change as the temp goes up. Use a good baking thermometer to keep track of the water temp as your checking the sensor with your meter.

Heres one... You can test it by using ice water (0 deg C) and boiling water (~100 deg C, depending on what your altitude is). Use a dvm to measure the resistance and compare.

Wow that is some excellent data to have. Anyone should be able to test theirs now. It is always nice to test sensors before you go out and start replacing them.

I forget who origionally posted that table but kudos to them. Really helps to see what the expected resistances should be.
