Mclaren killer, 3rd gen
those aren't NOS bottles, McLaren won't let you do anything to those cars at all, for 1.2 million dollars you get to loan the car from them,
I'm sure that they own the car.....

when you accidentally find a message board of where they meet, and read some of the questions about the owner ship of the car, you start to understand, you do technichally own it but before you own it in all the legal papers, you sign off the right to mod it, theres only 64 street versions of the car out there, and McLaren International wants to keep them as close to original as possible, its not nitrous and its not the exhuast system i have no clue what they are.
Yeah, that's definitely not NAAAWWWS.
I can't remember exactly what it is, but I do remember its one of the parts thats covered in a thin sheet of gold, for insulation.
Sounds like a gratutitous use of gold to me.
The Road & Track issue that tests one of these illustrates it a little more clearly. The gold is also on the underside of the bonnet, as insulation.
Bottles filled with processed cheese?

Everyone wonders "what if you mod them?" But what could you Mod on those things? Isn't Everything already "modded" from the factory? I mean if you look at a stock camaro you say "ok engine has to go, tranny goodbye, rear end-get me my 9" and forget that exhast Y-pipe has to go lets weld in some sub-frames and drop a Blown Hemi in it with a nice Th-400 and remove this stock hood and get a Carbon fiber hood and blah blah blah..." But isnt everything on those cars already go fast? you dont see people saying "ok V-12 has to go, Tranny nope, and get me my 9" lets drop a blown hemi in and weld some sub-frames..." the car is already Done the point where It cant get "MUCH" better right? I use the word sparingly because EVERYTHING can be inproved, for a price. But when is enough, enough. When do people finnaly decide "Ok the car is how I want it and now Im done" personally, My car will never be done. And if it is, Its because Im focusing on another car instead. But for 1.2 Million, isnt the car fast enough?
