Turbo sizing questions...
I have a couple of turbo's that I have some questions about. they are pretty large, and I need to know if it would be possible to use in a full tilt race setup. They are... a/r 60's on the compressor side, and a/r 1.08 on the exhaust side. the exhaust housing's are 4-bolt flange setup. These are Garret turbo's.
What would be the hp potential for one of these? I may use both, but need some insight on these. Thanks in advance.

Someone will need to help you on the compressor side because I am not sure what size that it but the exhaust side is way to large. Even if it was a single it would be too big. I have a .96 for all 406 cubic inches on my engine. Youd need a considerably smaller exhaust housing.
But I like your thought process!!
Turbo powa baby!

Take a caliper and measure the inducer of the compressor wheel and the exhaust wheel.....try to get as close as possible to the dimensions and i'll do my best to identify the wheels and tell you what kinda hp they can support
But i will tell you with the .60 a/r its a good start
Also what size are the inlets/outlets of the turbo?
if its a 4" inlet and a 2.5" outlet.....you probably have a fairly large turbo.
Try to get me those dimensions
thanks

Actually if it's a full tilt race setup, the 1.08 might not be too bad. If your looking for maximum high rpm flow and not worried about quick spool up you might try the 1.08. I wouldn't go below .96. I have a .81 on mine and the exhuast pressures are getting too high. As procharged said, measure the inducer of the wheels and compare them at www.turbocharged.com. That's the only way to definitely tell what they are or are comparable to. Is that a 3 or 3.5" v band discharge on those? Can you post pics of them?
