Procharger install- how to adjust the fan for SC bracket

How do you make adjustments to the driver's side fan to allow installation of the sc bracket?

The fan support need to be slotted to allow it to rotate. Not exactly clear on this. Rotation and where to slot.

Thanks.

Remove the 2 lower fan mounting bolts on the driversside fan assy, remove the metal clips that the bolts threaded into, slot the holes in the plastic reinstall the metal clips, install the 2 lower monting bolts, your trying to move the fan as much as possible towards the driverside fender for clearance.

Hope this helps ya

Now that I have the SC plate installed I see the reason to move the fan over. The lower pulley on the SC plate rubs the motor housing.

Would it be better to slot the hole on the fan support housing instead of the piece on the body. I guess both will work equaly well once tightened.

Thanks.

i did both, when i did the fan support mounts, there's not much room for slots, i was able to get enough movement after slotting the piece under the metal clips.
