track results w/in

Got two runs today. The first one my hood popped loose but didnt come off. There was a single strip of "duct tape" on it since we havent got the front hood pins on yet. It came loose. I let off to a 12.20 @ 88mph.

Go up and make the second run and I come back to the pits and there is oil spewed out onto the engine. We have a vacuum leak at the front and back of the intake. So, it only limited me to 5 psi of boost

Here is the run down of that second run though

60': 1.67
1/8: 7.08 @ 100.3
1/4: 10.95 @ 126.49

I cant wait to see what this thing is going to do with 25psi of boost!!

Im pretty pleased considering the intake leak!

Nice numbers!

Middle tens are in your reach.. how much boost are you aiming to run with the combo?

Man, I hate you.

Get some vids of a run @ 25psi, launching off the transbrake, with the intake actually sealed.

And get some hood pins

Edit - at 25psi, he'll hit low9s with no problem (assuming traction is somewhat remotely there)

wow those are great times, especially considering the intake leak and only 5 psi. that thing is gonna be insane once you fix the intake and dial up the boost. congrats on the times.

Are you gonna be able to do wheelstands once you get all the bugs worked out? That would be cool. Post some pics if you do.

Brad...

Once I get some suspension work done, it should hang the fronts pretty good. I hope so at least. Nothing too high but a little off the ground would be fun!

Once forgot to install the clips on my 302 pinto. got to 45 ish, then wham! up came the hood and smacked into the roof/moulding. Its a little startling, glad it didn't cause any damage/problems.

Oh.. got a nice Malibu that insane motor of yours will fit into..

Hey Guido, how much $$ will it take to get you to bring that beast out this way in a few weeks?
