Some of you run GM based 58mm or monoblade style throttle bodies, others run the Ford style 90mm. Does one have an inherant advantage over the other? I would think that the single 90 would flow more and be easier to plumb, but are there other aspects to consider? I'm still in the planning stages of a turbo project, and could run either.

From what I understand, the larger mono blade TB's have more problem with tip in throttle than the smaller twin bore ones do.

I havent noticed any problems on my car. And I am running a program from a friend who has a twin bore TB.

Make of it what you will. LOL

Thanks Guido, once again! I'll probably go with the Accufab.

I think if a guy wants to run a single blade, it "should" be easier to connect a round pipe to a round TB, but as guido showed the job can still be difficult. But, I think it might be harder when trying to transition round ducting into a oval TB. If you run an intake like guido and others have run (carbed style converted) you need to buy (unless you build your own) a 90* neck. The ones sold by many companies for use with the ford style TB are much cheaper than the "twin butterfly" style sold only by Accel. Accel does sell a TB (expensive) that has the inlet "flanged" and removable to permanetly attach it to the ducting. I have driven myself so crazy and wasted so much time weighing these options that I have decided to go with a smaller motor ( since I only have a P1sc), smaller performance heads (1205 size gasket), and a stealth ram other wise my 4 year (so far) project is goanna turn into an 8 year one.
