Question 1: tpi computer and turbos

Hey all
I am getting fairly serious about a set of turbos for my 87 camaro. I had a question regarding the computer though. Currently i am running a carb with no computer but i have a complete tpi system under my work bench and i would really like to use that with the turbos. What sort of computer work do i need? I realize a "regular" performance chip would probably advance the timing too much for blown applications but is a stock chip and ECM capable of handling the car running under boost. This is a MAF system. Do i need to run any special sort of computer like a Kalmaker? I want to run about 9 lbs boost...although maybe more if i get an intercooler.

You would need to buy a aftermarket ECM (Electromotive, accel, FAST or similar) or change to a 7749 ECM and reuse your TPI harness. Do a search on PROM board for 7749 and check out this link http://www.speedtoys.com/~bort62/7749/Main.htm
