Roots for 427 SBC?
Just doing a little dreaming... what would be a good roots blower on a stroked 400 SBC for street/strip? Something that would make about 5 psi of boost. I'm not thinking about anything insane, just a little disturbed.
A 6-71 would probably do it but is physically a bit big. Could a 142 or a 177 be made to work reasonably well?

I guess I'm thinking more about how much blower displacement it would take to start building boost in a larger engine. What kind of pulley setup would it take to make about 5 or 6 psi?
