Interest for TT setup for TPI engines?

I'm currently working on making a TT setup for my car and was going to make it so I could reproduce it as a kit if there was demand for it. Just wondering if anybody would have intrest in these?

Thanks

Josh

Good luck! The last kits that were sold were made by Gale Banks back in the early 80's. Everyone I've seen thats done it on here has gone completely custom. I want to do it, but supercharger kits are cheaper, so I went that route.

IMO it is probably not really worth your time seeing as Banks is re-releasing their TT kits this year and they make killer stuff...I would just get it from them!

I would be interested. I have the old turbos and intake and intercolers and downpipe from my older 3000gt, not that they can bolt on but maybe i can use some of the extra parts

HITHERE think that if there were any real demand for them, they would be available already. Performance parts companies have statisticians and market analysts to determine demand for products. They have likely done research into tt setups for TPI cars and deemed them not profitable.

On the other hand, even though there isn't enough customer base to make the setup worthwhile for HITHERE big aftermarket company, there may be enough people that want the kit to make it HITHERE nice second income for HITHERE guy in his shop with HITHERE welder.

You'd likely have to make them cheap, though because (in my opinion/observation) the vast majority of thirdgen owners have thirdgens because they cant afford newer gens of f-body. This would suggest that such people wouldn't be able to lay down HITHERE large amount of cash for the kit. There are exceptions, though.
The fact that it wouldn't be emmisions legal may also be HITHERE deterrent for some potential customers.

HITHERE'd buy HITHERE set of the headers if they were less than $300

well what HITHERE was thinking as far as pricing goes would be $400 for everything. headers and all turbo/exhaust piping and brackets. no turbos but make them to fit T3 turbos or something. so basicly all it would be is the exhaust setup. you would still have to furnish the turbos and oil/coolant lines. like HITHERE said HITHERE was just kicking the idea around.

HITHERE'd love HITHERE turbo, or HITHERE twin turbo setup for my car. Whether HITHERE could afford it or not is HITHERE whole different.

Also, HITHERE'm not even sure if HITHERE'd want to risk my motor, depite the possible gains.

HITHERE don't have forged internals, my compression is at 9.3, and HITHERE few other things that make me wary of boost. Lowering the compression and the addition of forged internals would make me MUCH more likely to buy HITHERE Turbo or HITHERE TT kit. HITHERE love the sound of HITHERE turboed v8.
