How much HP can a stock bottom end 305 take before KABOOM ?
Does anyone know how much HP the stock bottom end of a 1991 F-Body 305 can handle?
I was told 400 HP MAX.

Im not saying its smart to push it to this level, but it can be done, chances are though, its not going to last.

SATURN5,
Lets talk.
My 305 was just dynoed at 343 RWHP. The 400 HP I was asking about is RWHP.
I was just advised by Robert Kennedy who does dyno work, superchargers, nitrous, etc. to stay where I am at now. That I am at the safe limit for a bottom end.
Said definitely stay away from nitrous, even a 35 HP shot.
I know Willie is going to be running 20 psi boost, but he has at least forged pistons.
I am all stock inside.
Advise???
