Anyone with a TPIS mini ram on a supercharged engine
Just wondering what kind of performance and gains were experienced with using the TPIS mini ram on a blown engine.

I forget which issue of CHP it was, but they had a 302 chevy running 600 hp with a vortech supercharger running 17 psi of boost and a tpis miniram. They said they knocked down 24 mpg with the motor if I remember right.

I have that book at home somewhere. I had a miniram and s-trim vortech for a while. it had a great low end punch. I had a smaller stall converter then too.
It works good but it being a front fed manifold, it suffers from some inefficiency from port to port. If you HAVE a Miniram, id keep it and use it. If you dont, I wouldnt buy it. There are plenty of other well designed intakes that would work fine. I use a carb style manifold with a 90 degree elbow and a single mustang throttle body.
Good luck

I have a miniram with a r-trim vortech, runs good, need to get some more dfi tunning figured out. I know of 3 other people that run a mini ram with a vortech, all cars are running single digits, but I have heard some issues from them as to problems with the inefficiency from port to port as Guido stated.
