how well do XE cams work with nitrous?

well, my shortblock is on it's way out, so i'm in the process of building another 350 with stock crank and rods, arp rod bolts, and trw forged pistons. Gonna be reusing my trick flow heads and rpm intake with 750 demon. Right now i have a Comp Xe274 cam, and i love it. I'd like to reuse it with the new motor, which will be seeing something around a 150 shot. I've heard however that the XE cams don't really work well with nitrous.

If not, whats a good cam to go with? I'd be looking for something similiar to the xe274 that won't be a pig off the juice.

sorry if this has been discussed, i searched and didn't find much.

Eric

if ur goin to use nitrous Jegs sell the Compcams Nitrous HP cam kits.

for the 274 cam its 274/292* adv. duration, 488/.501'' lift and has an rpm range from 2400-6500rpms.

the regular XE cam fopr the 274 is 274/286* adv. duration, 487/.490'' lift and has an rpm range of 1800-6000 rpms.

im thinkin of gettin either the 262 or 268 nitrous cam for my 305 becuz i plan on puttin nitrous on my motor. and figure if this cam is made to take the hit of nitrous it will be good.

I use the xe 268 and a 125 hp shot. Works really well. Whoever told you that xe cams don't work well with N20 doesn't know what they are talking about.
