I mean no harm or offense in this comment, but if you need a detailed plan to get started on something such as single/twin turbos... your not ready for the project.
Especially in a thirdgen. I agree with greasemonkey, your going to have to do a little research. Making it work with a carb is only a minor problem. Blower hats and blower carbs are easy to find.

Believe me,I do in no way think banks has the magical cure for what we are looking for.I have been bugging my Brother in law weekly for updates on the progress of the return of the TT kit so I can post stuff for all of us.I will say this: I have been to the facility and they can do amazing things over there and have a tremendous facility.I have also seen the TT kit in their dyno bay,on a motor and hooked up to all sorts of diagnostic equip.I know the whole kit is not yet avail for sale,(believe me I will be top on the list I hope),But i am told that many of the components that are necessary to build a custom system i.e manifolds, plumbing, oil lines, turbo's etc are avail from Banks to be purchased. So it give the guy who wants to do something now some options on obtaining some of the necessary items...that's all
i have been waiting as long as everybody else here for Banks to get it done & frustrated just the same, but atleast I can honestly say i have seen the light at the end of the tunnel and it is bright.Let me know if anybody has any questions and I will be happy to relay the info to my Bro-in-law and see if I can get some answers, but I have basically asked them everything already..bye

'robbob' thankyou for posting those pics (10 to 15 year old banks kit articles) it is very cool history lesson, of what happens when a manufacturer comes to market with a product way ahead of its time then discontinues it, and never brings it back even when there is a huge market for it now. The best Banks stuff that you can get today is antique stuff on E-bay, so please dont insult me with what "might be". I was actually told by one of the development techs that Gale thinks making SBC kits might be a waste of time to market, and that they may shift focus to an LS1 kit.

dude I dont know why the heads of big companies make decisions that screw us sometimes, maybe he thinks it wont be profitable. I think thats crazy...
Personally,I think it is kinda sad when you guys all basically push the only company who has made something in kit form for us in the past (yes I know past is the KEY word) aside as "Don't hold your breath"..But I am sure when something is released you guys will be the first ones trying to get your hands on it.Banks is obviously not going to tell the consumer they are working on the release of a kit if they aren't....C'mon people...think positive!...anybody else have something better that is available..NOT

a quick search of the word "banks" reveals some very dissapointed people that have been waiting for years and years. Banks is its own worst enemy in this way because so many people drawn to the lore of nasty banks turbo cars have had to fabricate thier own stuff. This vacuum that banks has produced may generate another contender if someone steps up to the plate and simply starts building just the turbo manifolds. There is no way company like Banks that leans on its name and charges alot more than its competition could compete in that way. They appear to be safe for now because to the aftermarket we are just a bunch of second class penny pinching hicks anyhow. where are the large after market TPI MAF's? where did the non-serpentine blower kits go? the list goes on and on...

B4Ctom- i agree with most of what you are saying as I too have been waiting for a long time for them go get their act together..How do you think I feel: I have a family member working for them
However, they got their name recognition from putting out some great stuff and it works as claimed, unlike many other companies out there.what they are capable of doing there is second to none and by my calculations they are still probably the shot we have at getting a COMPLETE kit from a manufacturer.Oh,Just an FYI:Banks does sell the Turbo manifolds..They are part #51100 and according to My bro in law they have 10 sets in stock now.
