juat a curious question before i mod. an LT1 itake i have layin around. I was just wondering because it would be SO easy to put some injector bungs and a large LS1 style throttle body on and go for it, I may just try it for the hell of it?!?!

BTW its going on a sb forced induction 355

its not as easy as you think.....

you need to drill the holes in the exact center of each port and use a bridgeport mill. Then you have to make sure to drill the holes in the same exact spot as well and then after you get done drilling the holes in the fuel rails you have to use an end mill to square it so the o-rings can seat

plus welding the bungs in the intake is no easy task (to do right anyway)

here are some pics of my conversion:

under pressure ( turbo maybe ) i would
believe the carb style intake might have
an advantage .. N/A the longer runners
of the tpi would be better in a heavy old blazer
to get it to launch decent

the lt1 needs to be given to me to free up
your floor space ..

true, but in reality the runner length on my victor junior is longer than the runners on the LT1 intake
