Electric Superchargers, do they work
I have seen these electric superchargers on ebay. They look like they are basicaly a heater blower fan in a fansy housing. I was wondering if they actaully work or are just a joke. If anyone knows anything about this let me know. THANKS

not only do they not help, but they can distroy your engine.
1. they have a propeller.... they cannot even create boost.
2. they dont flow enough air. so what happens is the air is sucked thru it, spinning the blades faster then what they are ment to spin... eventually they break...... but since its installed after the air filter, the plastic pieces go into the engine... distroying it.
3. even if you had the most baddass leafblower attached to your intake, it wouldnt flow enough air.

they move just enough air to cause idle problems, and as told your engine will merely try to suck that little piece of junk inside out and when it achieves that the guts will not mix well with the guts of your motor they will likely be in disagreement. BTW, please do a quick search using "electric supercharger", I wouldnt want to see you get flamed here.

do you have any idea how many jokes around the internet revolve around that "toro-toro" setup in the pic? Hell there are even urban car legends among import jackasses about it.
