wierd idea

I'm not too good in the engine department, but some broken logic came into my brain today.

What if I got a big ol 12v blower from Grainger and hooked it to the stock air intake? Would it be possible to supply enough air or more air than just the scoop could provide?

Then my broken logic kept going. Would the amount of air need to be varied according to speed or RPMs?

And then I woke up, the blower would probably have to push super-mega CFMs and I probably can't buy one. 600 CFM range? This would be on a 305 TBI.

A bigger/better air scoop would most likely be easier and cheaper, but I thought I'd share :lala:

electric supercharger - basically don't work. Do a search on this site and you'll see.

Sure the "leaf" blower can blow 600-700 CFM of air, but only at 0.2 psi boost.
