Can anyone identify these injectors?

Does anyone have any info regarding the injectors shown below? I'm told they are Bosch style, low impedance, 160 lb/hr injectors, but the Ford part number given (XL3Z-9F593-CA) doesn't match the one given by FordMotorsport/SVO (DFM9F593A150). I was told the injector was used by Ford in their natural gas engine line, and when used with gasoline, the injector flows 160-165 lb/hr. I was informed that this injector is very popular among the Pro 5.0 car making BIG (1500+) HP. Can anyone shed any light on this myth and injectors????

Fuel injector flow rate is measured in pounds of fuel per hour (lb/hr)

Yenko, thanks for that info, it will come in handy when I need my larger injectors.

Yes, thank you Yenko for that link. I'll ask again if there are any numbers stamped into the injector which might help in determining it's size.

All of the ford/bosch style injectors that I know of with a light gray top fit into 2 categories:
- there’s a bunch of 14-18lb/hr injectors used in a bunch of the smaller ford MPFI engines
- 52lb/hr injectors used in the 83-84 5.0+auto TBI cars.

Have you tried measuring the resistance across the terminals? That would narrow things down a bit. Also any bosch injector should have a bosch # on them that starts with a 280…
