Who's using L98 05151NOS system?

I'm considering this system. If somebody has used this one or currently uses it, I appreciate input as to your satisfaction. TIA for the info!
Scott

Mods: TPIS airfoil; ported plenum; TPIS Bigmouth- ported and polished; AFPR; 170 stadt; vette servo

I have one. Does just what it is supposed to do. Easy install. I have the older model with the fogger nozzles rather than the bar in the plate so don't know if there is really any diff there.

I got a good deal on my kit. I was actually leaning toward the NX stuff.

I had the stock L98 and the 700R4. That shot will make quite a bit of torque with your combo. Don't know what kind of shape your tranny is in but mine didn't like it... twice. Others have better luck... just added that FWIW. (The engine loved it - no probs)

Whichever way you go have fun with it. N2O fun fact: don't hit it unless you are at least 2500-3000 RPM

What times did you run with the system? I have a pretty stock 89 FF 350 and a Nitrous Cheater Kit in the closet that i could convert for my TPI. I know that my car stone stock is running 14.25-14.5 with only SFC's.

Hey, thanks for the reply! My Formula has about 57k on the clock, so the trans "should" be ok. I probably would use juice fairly sparingly, but it would be nice to have it when I need it. I've heard that "fun fact" before...guess it should be taken seriously.

Word... ask me how I know

I have since picked up a window switch so that will be nice.

SweetS10v8,
The one time that I went to the track they wouldn't let me run on the bottle. I didn't have a safety blow down tube. I had to put my bottle up in the tower while I raced . I have the parts now. Probably won't spray on the new engine until I have several thousand miles on it.

Seems like most of the data I have seen is 1 sec to 1.5 sec on a 150 shot (obviously a tremendous number of variables there).

I have the new type spray bar #5151 kit on my 92 factory stock 105K old L98 (never had the valve covers off). The only motor mods are slp headers, runners, cold air and a edelbrock base all ported my me. The best N/A run in the car is 13.75 @ 99.6 mph and with 150 hp jets the best is 12.11 @ 111.4 this week I installed larger Solenoids and will try 180 hp jets for a 11 second run.

I would run a bigger hit, but I think 150 is all it will take completely stock...
