Stock L98 will it live with 250 shot......
for one pass. Last night I ran a 82 jet (210hp) on my stock 105K old longblock and had no problems with it. The car ran 11.61 @ 115.44 Do you think it can make a full pass with a 92 jet (250hp) and what will it pick up from the 210hp shot.

i suppose for one pass, as long as you have enough fuel, but after that, your staring death to your short block in the face.

Is your car carbed? I'd say go for it as long as you got a single plain intake, good fuel (and lots of it), and conservative timing.
I bet it'll last as long as you don't go and do that all the time. My guess on what is likely to break first (due to the stress, not detonation) is the crank.

Now that it ran 11.6 do you think it will get into the 10s brfore the motor pops.

Next week I will have a new 6.7L Rodeck ready for my car so the stock motor is on its way out anyways.

I'm assuming you're not spraying off the line? You need like 6mph more to run 10's. If you were to spray off the line and hook you'd probably do it.

Let me shed some light here. To go from say 200 to 250 will not get you inot the tens with your current time. I run 11.30's with a 150 shot and 10.90's @125-127mph with a 200 shot. You arent going to gain 6-7 tenths with 40-50 more nos hp you will gain about 3-4 tenths max.. As for your shortblock lasting all I can say is good luck. I have been lucky with mine, but it is rebuilt with forged pistons, balanced, and arp rod bolts. Everything else is stock. I spray 200 every week and it runs consistant 6.90's in the 1/8th and 10.90's in the 1/4

What NOSFEDGTA said, there’s no way that 40hp will get you into the 10’s from 11.6.
Either way, bring a bucket when you try it… that way you’ll have some way to get your engine home.
