Home Made Fuel Cell
Does any one know the basics of fuel cells? I just want some information and is it possible to make a resonably safe Fuel Cell (i'm planing to make a NOS system from "borrowed" Fire Extinguasher)

Why not borrow a gas tank from a riding lawn mower? It's "reasonably safe" for the lawn mower. I mean if you going to go all hill jack on the setup why not go full hill jack?

The reason i'm asking is because i need to make it a tight stop where a square wont work

Foam keeps the fuel from sloshing around.
Dude, I think you are begging to be added to the Annual Darwin Award list though with that fire extinguisher!

hahahahahahaha Hey ok CO2 (stuff in fire extingusher) has a vapor pressure of 750psi on average and because of safety standars the tank is safe at 3x the pressure of the gas so for does who cant multiply the pressure rating of the tank is 2250psi and nos is under 1100psi so its safe (not as safe as a NOS tank)
Geez, how pathetic! This is the exact reason why 3rd gen cars have such a bad rap! Be prepared to purchase your own filling station, as everybody will laugh at you when you bring it in to a shop to have it filled.

For how cheap NOS kits have become and the bargains you can find on Ebay and other classifieds why do something like that to save a couple of bucks? If you can't afford to do it right and safely, perhaps you should wait.
But that's just me, I like my car to much to see it on fire...

don't even think of taking it to the track with a rigged nitrous setup. or a rigged fuel cell setup. tech inspection is there to keep morons out.
seek professional help before you kill someone other than yourself. seriously. most wouldn't mind if you removed yourself from the gene pool with ideas like this, but the public at large needs to be kept safe from people who have ideas like these.
there are certain things you just don't screw with. fuel and nitrous oxide (together or seperate) happen to be among that list of things.

Building a 500+hp engine on minmum wage is a fruitless efort as well.
Hard to keep up with at a low income level like that.
Im locking this one before it gets too stupid.
