Octane?

I ordered a nitrous kit for my zz4 350.
its got a slighty taller manifold (dual plane)
larger cam .510 .520 and the duration @ .50 is 230/236
the motor is a 10/1 compression with hypereutectic pistons and aluminum 58 cc heads. I'm running a street mechanical edelbrock pump through a demon 4 bbl 750 double pumper. l'm hoping to be able to run a 150 shot on it possibly on 93 octane. the motor will not run well if l pull any ignition advance on it.

beleive it or not the motor will run (very well actually) on 87 octane which l discovered on accident. l normally run 93 through it, and the motor NEVER hiccups or backfires.

l have a few questions. I can get my hands on 110 leaded for a fairly good price. the motor is completely mechanical, no cats, or emissions equipment. half and half 110/93 would make 101, my question is can leaded and unleaded be mixed and would aluminum heads, and modern (stock) valves tolerate the use of a leaded fuel?

Secondly, l have seen a product by NOS that is throttle position controlled that opens and closes the sollenoid from the reading it takes from the throttle position sensor. thats what I gather from it. This product goes against everything l know about sollenoids. Aren't sollenoids designed to either be fully open or full closed? Let me know your thoughts on that progressive system.

thanks alot guys
