Cure for broken cranks

i just got an idea and i dont know if anyone else has figured this out before me but...i have a lot of friends with blown motors and it seems like theyre always breaking cranks, even the good forged ones. it always breaks right before the timing gear, after the last bearing. i know its because the blower drive belt puts so much stress on the crank , so if you could somehow add another bearing on the tip of the blower pulley, wouldnt this make the crank much stronger? even if you could just put another belt on there linked to a free spinning pulley, as long as it was pulling down and counteracting the force of the drive belt pulling up on it, wouldnt that take the stress off? is there a mechanical engineer in the house?

You can buy small block cranks with big block snouts..Or BDS sells
a front crank support. This also happens from not enough timing

I have been seeing in the mustang racing classes for years - a strut rod with what appears at first to be a very odd heim joint on each end. but they are really needle roller bearings attached to both the front of the crankshaft and the input shaft on the blower. this strut's job is to prevent the tension applied by the belt from pulling the crank and blower shaft towards each other. I was unable to find a picture of one. just imagine a heim joint panhard bar from our cars made to fit between the crank and input shaft on the blower and the inside of the heimjoint actuall spins with the crank speed on one end and the blower speed on the other.
