depending on how had you chase the tune, you could go high 10s. But don't exspcted that just by slapping on the parts. What intake you going to run? If you can, run long tube headers and true dual exhaust.

well im gonna go with a stock tpi ported base and plenum,i allready have 1 5/8" shortie headers and im gonna go with a 3" catback single exhaust. i have a video clip of a guy running a tpi supercharged setup and he was doing 9.9 in the 1/4.i dont know what else he had though.

Hard to say..>> But 10's no way...not likely on an s-trim...yes people have done it but they had more mods than what your listing...

Id say as long as you ca get it to hook and a good program maybe HIGH 11's LOW 12's...deppending on the tuning..

BTW I know the video you are speaking of....That setup IS very decieving....NOT an s trim...Its a T TRIM...and thats not exactly a STOCK TPI...... That car had extensive mods and used an electromotive TEC 2 system with a custom tune...That car WAS dialed in by profesionals..

Im sure the video in question is the infamous Preston Smith...lots of tricks in that setup for sure....

well i kinda figured thir was more to it but i did see the stock tpi setup i sure he had it ported but it was polished and looked stock.what would i need to run 11s with a similar setup?would a 355,pro lightning heads and good exhaust 3" and 1 5/8" headers and bigger injectors plus all the other stuff i have do the trick?

Thats kind of relative...Its a close call as it is...But what suspension mods do you have??? what tires will you run...what are your driving skills at the track.... what altitude are you at....how good is the track prep...at what temperature..What KIND/STALL converter do you use???or clutch if it manual....I mean a ton of things factor into that...Plus a GOOD matched combo...I mean If you carefully select a GOOD MATCHED CAM and everything you should be able to run 11's with GOOD suspension and Some drag radials...Provided you have a converter and stuff like that...

But if your talking stock suspension and Street tires with a stock converter and a stock chip...etc... then almost NO WAY for sure...

FYI..thats NOT a stock tpi...It just looks like it... ...If I remember correctly the manifold is Heavily ported stock One, and the plenum is heavily ported... Then the ENTIRE SETUP...as in PLENUM THROUGH THE HEADS***were all EXTRUDE HONED Together**** Big expense...but Definately worthwhile...Most people do not spend the coin to get HEADS extrude honed...But he did...

BTW as well...Thats a 305 Not even a 350...

no way thats a 305 wow holly ****.im not gonna be running at the track all the time just once in a while its mostly for the street so drag radials no and im not worried about track conditions right now. i have a700r4 with b&m shift kit and vette servo 3;27 gears i will get a 2500 stall and i allready potred the plenum, maf mod and homne made CIA and many other mods.so it is possible to use the stock tpi ported and matched to the heads and get some real awsome results even with a supercharger. what else is that guy running do you know a way to contact him so i can get some advice?

He does not like to be bothered...I dont know him personally...Just a friend of a friend.... For the record that SETUP is long gone....Its a turbo car now...

I have at home an OLD HIGH TECH PERFORMANCE where they did a feature on his car....It lists the basics...But still no major details as to what was done...The article tells EVERYTHING yet says nothing...Hard to explain.... But yeah it was a 305..

Ill post the issue number If I can find it at home..

Ive still got a YS trim Bracket and COG pully setup for sale...all you need is a compressor ... A YS trim will go up to 30PSI... With the right pullies it would have you well below 11's A YS trim is Good untill like 1200 HP I believe....versus an S trim which is good untill 620HP..The bracket and cogs will work with a T-trim or HD s-trim as well...BUT the downfall is the HEAVY bracket setup does not allow the use of power steering***unless you run a remote Resivour pump...***

Like I said In the run you saw he had a T-Trim...which is a 25PSI blower good to like 850HP...

The issue is that With vortech blowers ALL head units fit in the same bracket mount....PLUS the difference between the Smallest trim compressor and the biggest trim is like 1000 bucks....Thats from the OLD A trim 6LB blower to a Z trim 32+psi blower good to like 2200HP...

SO the idea is GET a good feel for where you want to be LONG term...versus buying just enough and trying to get by...

Would not recommend a Z trim**LOL*** those HOUSINGS are about the DIAMETER of a SEWER LID.....they are HUGE!!!

Yeah for those kind of numbers just a Base kit and s-trim compressor...OR the ATI equivalent..STAY away from PAXTON...While they were the ONLY company to make a BOLT on kit for 87 CARS they were major PITFA and basically were very unreliable at best...

Buy some serpentine Brackets and a vortech or ATI kit and your set...

Too bad...I just sold my Vortech s-trim and base kit 2 weeks ago..
