He he, yea it is massive.. It's out of a transport of some sort, not too sure of much more at this point.. I just wanted the core to make a custom FMIC for the TTZ28 and the Fiero.. Might even have enough to do one for my brothers laser, but that's last on the list..

Well, I trimmed some fat today... /grin..

As well, I doubled up the core to get the flow I needed..

Time to start welding up the end tanks I guess and re-routing my pipes..

It's the EV (Extreme Velocity) hat, and is the best carb hat on the market as far as I'm concerned..

It has an air diverter to direct air downwards on the short radius of the turn into the carb.. Wonderful technology and Gordon @ http://www.superiorairflow.com/ was a great help... Everything they claim on their website has held true in my experience..

I've got the wiring and the 7749 ECM for my EFI conversion, but that's on the back burner for the time being.. Need to get some other stuff straightened out before that adventure..

Any chance you can take a picture of the inside of it… I'm wondering what this diverter looks like, since the accepted practice would be a diffuser of sorts instead.

Huh… I supposed that it's better then nothing (the bonnet, the picture is fine), but that's only a marginal improvement over just making the thing big enough and would only work right if you've got a fairly long straight shot at it. If you connected that to a bend you wouldn't get any better flow then you would with most others.

Thanks…
