I just bought a used Vortech SQ and was looking at the crank pully I got with it. It looks exactly like my crank pulley that is on the car. It's approx 7-3/4". Does any one know if this is correct, or do you know the size it should be? I asked Vortech but they don't have a measurement on it. Thanks

Thanks Madmax, I looked at the part number and it has a GM part number on it, that's why I was puzzled. I did a calculation on the impeller speed, do you know what size of pulley goes on the charger itself? I have 3 different pulleys from this guy? Thanks

 

Not sure myself. I could measure mine, but I dont know if its the stock pulley or not. Maybe Guido can tell you that one.

The pulley I have is 3.5" I'm not sure if thats the stock size or not though, probably is.

Actually the installation manual lists the components and sizes, the stock size is 3.48"

 

Thanks madmax. I have 3 pulleys all smaller than that. I did the calculation with the 7-3/4" crank pulley, but they will put me over the 50000rpm range. I'll have to look for a new supercharger pulley.
