it would look the same as a turbo system with a carb. except with a slightly different fuel system and engine management system.
speaking of tbi turbo....i was bored at work and got thinking. Import guys have been using aditional injector setups right before the throttle body w/ turbo setups for years with good results. What about using a 749 ecm to control the tbi unit under boost and program one or two of the unused injector outputs to control auxillary (sp?) injectors under boost?..or even use a megasquirt diy ecm to control it? I mean my TBI has been firing up instantly in the recent single digit temps we've been having. Also being able to use an adapter plate for the tbi to use any 4bbl intake i would think this could make an affordable injection setup that would probably be slightly more driveable than a home built blow through carb.
Any thoughts?

i've been thinking a very similiar deal lately, except with a 144 blower with a tbi ontop. all very feasible, just gotta do it.
im just wondering what there would be in power diff between a twin turbo blow through 650 holley dp and say a 454 tbi unit w/ one or two additional inj. before the throttle body. i guess no ones really tried it yet.

how much boost do you want to run? I wanted a lil more info just to satisfy my curisosity and emailed ATI for a part number on their tbi bonnet. .....heres their reply.
"If you are going with low boost ( less then 9psi ) that bonnet will work
perfect. Though if you are going for more then 9psi you will want to go
with something other then that, due to flow reasons. The part number is
AM010A-1 $195 retail.
Thanks
ATI"

BTW nobody buys anything retail as listed by ATI.
If you decide to go with a ATI instead of a turbo. Find a nice dealer. tell him what you want to do, tell him to order the kit from them with the FMU for a third gen but with the FMU ratio for a TBI truck (with a 305?) ask them to add the bonnet and an extra 90 degtree bend, tell them to keep the TPI throttle body inlet tube. and finish it up on your own with a locally sourced piece of pipe or two.
