Im oout to turbo my 305. i need to decideon which heads will be my best bet. ive got crappy LO3 heads right now. what would be the best choice between 416 casting, AL L98 heads, Iron L98(64cc=large compression drop), or a set of vortecs. Ill probably have them ported before putting them in, i just need to know which would be the best base head to start off with. Thanks guys.

 

305 S/R Torquer heads are also an option.......

 

Vortecs... they're head and shoulders above the rest of your list. You realize that they have a 64cc chamber also, right?

 

actually i didnt know that they were 64cc's as well. thats awesome. i just hope that i can get them with 194 valves now too . thanks for all the help

 

they come with 1.94/1.5" stock...
