is this intercooler enough?

would this be enough for an sbc with twin T-bird IHI (A/R .60/.63)?
seems like every company on ebay claims their intercoolers are the best most efficient, and that the competitions are cheap junk that dont flow/cool very good.... i was just wondering if anyone had any knowledge of "good" designs, and if this size would be enough?

by the way it would be going in an S10 in the grill area, so it should get pretty decent flow through it

also how hard/expensive would it be to fab up some endtanks?

It only looks to be about 2.5" thick. I bought a intercooler from those guys. They said the core was 24x12x3" thick but when it showed up it was only 22.5x9x2.5. I complaind and tried to get a refund but they wouldn't refund my 40.00 shipping. plus I had to pay shipping back. Ebay nor my creditcard company would help me. Be careful. Anyway a soda can is 5" tall and 2.5"wide. Check the pic carefully.

I forgot A ATI intercooler uses a spearco *bar and plate* design more effeciant than the tube and fin which is also heavier. Depending on your welding skills it is very easy to make end tanks. There is a guy on ebay selling the spearco cores with or without tanks. I think his name is boostcoolers i will look and get you a link.

or how about this one?
says its bar and plate, and can support 700 HP

im trying to get something that will support 500 HP and "around" $400, so unless someone can tell me otherwise this one looks like a good deal... unless its too big... anyone wanna convert those measurments to inches for me?

Funny you are going to put this in a s-10 as the one i bought was to convert my typhoon to A2A. It will be as big as the grille area. the thickness might be a little tight and you will lose your hood latch support. other than that the $420 is not that bad..... Your call.

if you have any pics of yours i would love to see them, aslo any power increases? my friend has a typhoon and i've been trying to get him to either get a bigger/better a2w or switch to a2a, and he wants to, but is hesitant to spend the money on that right now, he wants a bigger turbo first, i dont think he needs the turbo yet as he is basically stock
