turbo into supercharger
I was wondering if it is possible to take the exhaust section off a turbo and take off the exhaust turbine and put on a pully and mount it in my engine bay and put a belt to it and use it as a centrifugal supercharger. also would there be any heat problems or would the belt rotate the turbo to much i know i could use a larger pully to reduce the rpm but it would reduce boost. has anyone ever done this?

Turbochargers are designed to rotate at much more rpm's than a supercharger. If you are going to start investing money on something like that, do a little research first. You will need a reduction gear calculated to the compressor wheel needs, pulleys with calculated diameter, high speed ball bearings to load/heat needs, custom designed compressor wheel shaft, lots of custom machined parts and the list goes on. I personally started making on myself, just for the fun of it, spend lots of $$ and finally gave up the project and ended up selling the good parts of the turbocharger and throwing to the trash what was left. It could have worked, but in the end is better to buy a supercharger, unless you want to have something to occupy your mind

they did it but in the end I remember he had to make two where one boosted into the other to make it worth thier while even with step up gear boxes. So basically it was "twice" compressed. I bet that makes some heat.
Anyhow here it is:
