got into the 9's!!!!!!!
got into the 9's!!!!!!!
Well i got into the 9's this past sunday short shifting like hell!! Its an automatic car, but I had to shift at 6500 instead of 7400 due to my fuel system. "holley black with 3/8 fuel line!" "nos has its own fuel system" everytime I would try to shift later it would nose over a little.... I am pleased with the car so far and cant wait for my new fuel system so I can go deeper into the 9's
I only had a 6.48 1/8th mile at 107mph and ended up a 9.98 at 140mph at the end of the 1/4....
car 60ft'd 1.45 and weighed in at 3442lbs....

Welcome to the 9 second club.
Time to work on upgrading your safety equipment, chassis cert. and license now. I just recently bought SFI spec 3.2A/5 jacket and pants ($290) and had my chassis certified last Saturday ($75) just so I can have the privilege to play in the 9 second zone.
I still need to get a license yet ($50)!

Alright the new fuel system is working.. I went to our local 1/8th mile on thursday for some tnt.. SInce I am a dumbazz and forgot my 7000 shift light pill I sitll had to shift at 6600. Well the first pass on motor netted me a 6.85@100.82 with a 1.52 60ft!!!! boy was I happy!!!
Then on spray it went a 6.32@105 with a 1.42 60ft.. this was kind of disapponting though I should have gained about 10-12 mph on a 200 shot and at least 8-9ths in an 9th mile. I did go 1.2 tneths quicker but for some reson I did not pick up as much as I should have. I am going to go through my nos setup this weekend and make sure my fp is right and that my kit i working properly. I will update again next week when I go....
On a side note when th car launched in was WICKED!!! I left with both front tires about 2 FEET of the ground! is was bass azz!!
