what is a good estimate of hp gain from 5 psi of boost on a v6??? 3.1L. id appreciate the help.

 

Boost isn't a universal measurement. A compressor efficency can effect the boost level and also intake air flow. It's kind of like comparing a old 60's GMC positive air displacement roots to a new D1-SC procharger. At the same boost lvls if neither was intercooled it would still show a big difference in output.

I would suggest further research.

my uncle had it dynoed bout a year before i had it and i came out 145 and ive juss clean up the motor replaced sum belts and hoses spark plugs and custom intake. its prolly round 150. and im lookin at probly 5 psi of boost. thats wut my friend says anyways it a garrett t3 turbo.

 

If your at 150 at the crank NA you will be around 200 with 5lbs
