went 9.74@140.59!!

Well I got a chance to try the new fuel system this past weekend and went a 9.74@140.59 on the juice... I also got a new best of 10.84 on motor@126.72

I could have gone faster, but my alternator took a shi! in the burnout box. I ran it anyway and lost fuel pressure again. It only had 8.lbs of pressure on hte nos side"I run a 10psi kit" so I think I think the next time out with the right fuel pressure I might be able to go some 9.60's or 50's.... I am very happy with the car and hope to get to the 9.50 range soon !!

Excuse my lack of knowledge, but when I ran my nitrous systems, I could only tell the pressure out of my bottle(800-1100 psi) How do you measure how many psi you were putting out at 8-10psi?

Are you talking lbs/min? If so what are you using to measure it?

I had the 250's in.. my car is not reacting the way it should on the juice right now. I am not sure if it is the fuel isue I have been having or what.. My friends car goes 10.50s all day on motor when he sprays 200 he goes some 9.40's and 50's. He is running an n/a cam too. I run a nitous cam on a 112 lbs. I have to figuire out whats going on with mine. He picks up more than I do with jsut a 100 shot to my 200 shot.... I better get busy before he gets to far ahead of me

I'm assuming that his setup is otherwise similar?

First place I would look for a difference would be the exhaust (anywhere from the valve to the tailpipe… if he has more flow somewhere it would explain the difference, exhuast flow makes a very big difference with power adders), and otherwise it's possible that his setup is just better tuned…

I meant the jet patterns. The use diff paterns for their hp levels. Their spray bar is very diff as well. the holes are smaller with many holes unlike a nx system which uses 4 large holes per side.

same heads, rods, crank, block, pisotns etc. my cam is a 265-276@50 dur with 6.40-649 lift solid roller with a 112ls.

his cam is 258-264@50dur with 602-609 lift on a 110ls.

both heads flowed 300int and mine actuall flowed a little more on the exhaust.his220 mine almost 230

same headers same exhaust same gear. he runs a spool i run a locker and his car is 200 puinds lighter. please dont say its all right their either.

the only BIG diff is our converters. he runs an 8in 5300 stall, I run a 4600 custom billet nitrous converter. Now I coudl see it being a big deal on motor but not the juice.....

You know, I hate to say it but I think there are enough little things going on that pretty much explain that difference. Fix the alt/fuel probem and the biggest difference will be the weight…

Wow, I didn't even realize you're not far at all from me.

I assume this was ran at reynolds? Send me a PM next time you go, I'd be interested in watching.
