How much boost can a 3.1 with stock internals handle? Also how much hp is the transmissioin able to handle?

 

Stock internals: at least 10 psi
Stock auto: depends entirely on condition of bands and clutches.. otherwise expect hardcore failure at 5-7 psi IMHO
Stock T5: at least 10 psi (the stock clutch will *hate* you though)

There is no data above 10psi. Anything in that department would be pioneering.

 

My goal is to run 10 psi bone stock. Anything above that I figured would need some big investments, but this is a beater so I probably won't go more than 10 anyways.
