Dyno Number 545 rwhp @ 5,000rpm *pics*

Had the Monte dynoed on Friday. Pump Gas 14lbs of boost through the exhaust and 700r4. Ran out of fuel pressure, pump could not keep up! Just ordered bigger pump. I'm selling the 700r4 before I destroy it
Also wanted to Thank Biggtime for his ideas, help & ENCOURAGEMENT!

BlownSS:- I can't get your link to work. Congratulation on your rwhp numbers - very impressive.

I see it's a 383 with Procharger but could you list some more details of your combo and parts. What cam are you using? How hard was it to tune the combo? What size of injectors etc?

Many thanks for any help!

Thanks Dr G

I am running an eagle forged 383 4340 rotating assembly. My heads are afr195's (afr rev kit also), custom Hyd roller cam 230 240. DFI Gen 7 with 55lb injectors MSD ignition. I am using a Holley Stealth Ram Intake, Plenum and Fuel Rails.

The blower is a D1SC with a cog setup and 3 core intercooler.

The fuel system is wear I fell short the first time around. I used an Aeromotive 11101 external pump. At 14psi (appox 60 lbs of fuel pressure) the pump could not keep up. It began to run out of fuel around 4,000 rpm so we shut it down @ 5,000 rpm and called it a day.

I am currently installing two Bosch fuel pumps to do the job and uping the injectors to 83lb. It has been running on pump gas and I would like to keep it that way, connsidering Alky injection.

Also pulled the 700r4 out and replaced it with a 4L80E with a Compushift controller. It would have only been a matter of time before I destroyed the 700. Hopefully the 4L80 will do the trick. Gotta have Overdrive!!!

As far as tuning is concerned that is handled by Bill @ Second Street Speed in PA and Biggtime here on the boards.

Hope to be back to the dyno in a few weeks!

This link will work:
