how do you boosted guys run your PCV?

first off, i need a PCV. and venting it to the air just isnt enough, i need to draw the air out of there so it circulates.

i dont know if i like the idea of having the PCV before the impeller though..... i mean its spinning pretty damn fast when that oil mist hits it.... and its going to make a thin film... i just know that thin film is going to coke up and start layering carbon...

ideas?

You need a vacuum canister and a one way check valve. Since your engine doesnt produce boost at all rpms you can use the vacuum from lower engine speeds even under boost with this type of setup. Thats how the oem's do it and that how i would recomend you do it.

I just run a breather on the passenger side and I left the PCV valve on the driver side alone, as long as it's cleaning out the air in the crank after I'am done stepping on it it's good enough. One of these days I'am going to order up and install this PCV Shutoff Valve to help keep boost out of the crank http://www.bowlinggreencustoms.com/s...tomer/home.php

Get 2 for a Typhoon and put them into the air intake after the filter before the blower. My Typhoon uses 2 on a little rubber manifold.

On my blower car , I just use 2 breathers with no problems

Tony, do you have any problems blowing oil out the breather/dipstick tube like that? I ran my setup with just the (questionable) stock pcv valve, and it would blow the dipstick out of the tube and puke oil all over my downpipe at 10psi. Momentary boost wasnt a problem, but sustaining it for more than 5sec. or so resulted in one hell of a smoke show.

I bought a check valve for a brake booster from the HELP! section at the local dummy parts store and installed it inline from the pcv to the intake and it seems to have solved the problem.
