I was at a shop the other day. They have these snail shell looking electric blower motors used to suck dust and **** outta the work area..

These suckers are like 600-1000 cfm (various sizes). Really neat stuff.

I don't find it hard to believe a good size electric blower/compressor wouldn't boost a small engine. (like a 2.0l)..

I'd be afraid if it getting sucked into a large cube v8 though.

If these things worked, the magazines would be all over them. This is a hoax, big time.

I'm sure the fan would make some pressure, but not anywhere near enough to make a hp gain.

Have you looked at those electric water pumps? They flow a bit better at idle, but a mechanical one leaves it in the dust over 2500 rpm's or so. I'll bet it's the same thing here, you'll get a few more hp at idle, but when you floor it, the fan won't keep up, and would actually be a cork in your setup.

id try it out too! except id place it in my bathroom and use it as a "**** stench colection pump", that way when i **** i can suck all the smell up into jars and sell them on ebay as "sulfer infused natural methane gas with additive package". i could sell it as octane booster and everyone knows that octane booster makes power
oh so many people think about putting electric fans on there cars as a "supercharger" but they never seem to realise that you cant make boost with an electric motor. i bet those same people will buy my octane booster.

Next time your car is running, cover your TB opening with your hand. Just at idle, it sucks a hell of alot of air. Then try and tell me the electric fan will do anything other than be an inlet restriction

the damn thing will turn backwards if there is any type of pressure....lol
But I like the idea that Killjoy had of all chipping in $5 and "FORCING" a 2.8L guy to try it,...boy would that be pretty funny....I haven't luaghed this hard in a long time....
it's gotta be more of a restriction than anything, it's just getting in the way, probably more so than the cfm robbing heatsinks on the MAF's.
this is just too funny.
and Vegatabul,....you are one sick bastard, but a funny sick bastard....But wait,..that could work...$5.95 per jar. I could work for you, i just had White Castle's for lunch, and boy I could even use one of those electric blowers to pump the gas directly from my ***!
But seriously, my damn gas powered leaf blower would do a better job...heheh leaf blower.....if I didn't have a real Vorech, i'd have to try it..lol...then i could do some extra yard work this year,...it would be much more fun.

Put it in pressurized canisters and call it Gastrous Oxide.

Yeah I just ran across this today messing around and started reading the posts, However a fan can build positive pressure just look at turbine engines, several fans in sequence is all the compressor section is (Several hours of turbine engine systems for flight school) but not a fan of this size, it states that it puts out 500 CFM, engine is already pulling more than that so the fan would get in the way IMO.

Wonder how many people have sucked a piece of fan blade into there engine and totalled it on the spot. It amazes me that Supernatural-performance is selling these along side real performance parts. eBay won't do a thing about these scams and it gets old seeing it played out over and over. Someone should write them and ask for a boost graph on one of these WAIT don't because then they'll take a boost graph from a T4 and say "it outdoes a T3" not like honesty is these guys strong point.
