I bought the kit about three months ago but haven't installed it yet. It is definitely not a bolt-in. Although it includes the exhaust manifolds, it also does not include any exhaust piping. There is a clearance issue with the hood and driver's side turbo. This can probably be rectified by apply pressure via a hammer to the hood's undersupport structure. There is no hood clearance issues with a fiberglass hood though, which I have.

The factory accessory drive cannot be used either, whether it's the v-belt or serpentine system. The substitute system is made by Vintage Air and called the Frontrunner

This system is not cheap. It retails for around $1700.

The pic below is a mockup of the system on Tim Burgess's (Electronics Board Moderator), wife's 1984 Berlinetta equipped with a 305 TPI when the intake & headers were off.

When I install my setup, I will post as much information about the installation as I can.

My supercharged IROC-Z. I'll be dropping my F1 but keeping the twin IC setup.

any reason behind droping the F1? Id say good choice but you did have a nice setup.

TA4life, the BBSDesigns Race TT kit looks to be similar to the Banks kit, but much more thirdgen friendly and I believe cheaper, just something to think about. I've had a good experience with them. Race TT kit

The Banks kit looks real nice though, I can't wait to see it on Willie's car.

I'm gonna feel weak here pretty soon with my little 600hp TT kit (as soon as it goes on), but on an almost-stock rebuilt L98.

I think he means the accesory drive system e.i. Ac pump, alt, power steering pump and air pump, maybe even the water pump.

Yup what he said.

If you were to purchse the banks exhaust manifold seperately they would cost about $1700 alone!

Willie, glad to see you are coming to the dark side!! I wondered if youd ever turn the page and go with a turbo.

When I look at pics of the Banks TT kit I'm concerned about heat issues near the A/C tubes and the brake fluid reservoir. Since I'm too cheap to run that Vintage air setup, I think I'm gonna be removing the A/C system, so that takes care of that. But not too sure about what will happen with the brake fluid reservoir. I guess a heat shield or heat wrap is the answer, but that still looks pretty close. What do you think Willie? You've seen it in person so you probably know whats going on there. Do you consider it an issue?
