My goal is to go 150+ in the 1/4 and be a good street manered car and as reliable as possible. I decided to go with a dart block to help being that the factory block would be the only week point in the new motor

Where did you get the exhaust flanges that bolt to the head? And where they expensive?

Thanks,

I was just looking at their catalog.. They seem to have good prices on flanges, collectors, and bends... Were the shipping costs high?

Thanks,
-Matt

Twin T70's!

Enough with the teaser already, how about some details on this build. You have my attention, lol. Aren't these the same turbos that Head uses on his 7 second TT 427??

Matt I dont know if you forgot but if you could get me some dimentions on your intercooler and do you think I should use the same size, smaller, or bigger. By the way those turbos look like a pritty good upgrade to the old ones

I just realized you were in SC... I want a ride once you get this thing running..

I'm in wprt(1 hour away).. Two of my friends live in SC so I get out there every once in a while..

What are you doing for engine management? 749?

sorry the core measures 24x9x3
from jims coolers now add 3 inch tanks on top and then on bottom

That cooler should handle 1000hp One guy is using it on his twin c4 vette making 850rwhp. You could go with a smaller one, you can get the ATI 3 cores pretty cheap and will work fine. Take a look on ls1tech.com and search FMIC there are several fairly cheap coolers being used on that site. I paid $800 for mine but it is pretty big

Yes Matt I know where Williamsport is some of my friends go to school there. As for the engine management I have a FAST wide band ecm and the turbos are rated at 850hp each I was going to go with two precsion sc-61 but Joze at forcedinduction convinced me to go with the two T-70 he sells both and said the T-70 has a lighter wheel so it will actualy spool just as well as the smaller sc-61. The motor is the last step it will be a dart little M 400ish with good parts and AFR 220 heads nothing to fancy, woops I mean AFR 210 the 220 are not a direct bolt up head. Should of found me last summer I could of taken you for a ride in the old t3 setup even with a stock L98 that thing was very fast on the highway at just 7 pounds trapped 112mph but only got a 5 runs in hot july weather with no tune.
