Any BAD nitrous experiences
I have been researching a lot on this topic, and I think I'm gonna purchase the NOS #05151 kit for my LB9. From what I have read, aslong as I keep it at a safe level (work up to 100hp), and have some safety factors in you should be alright. I'm gonna upgrade the fuel pump and put in all the neccessary gauges. I did a search, and found people either saying yes its fine, or no don't do it but never any specific cases of a motor popping. Anyone have a bad experience so I know why, and know what to watch? I'm not gonna go spray crazy either, and no, I didn't watch "Fast and the Furious" and decide that I need to go out and get NAWWWWWZZZ
I just want something to hold me over till I can build a better mota

Nothing bad yet, only problem I've had was a bad N2O solenoid right out of the box
It wouldn't open all the way and the car would just fall flat on it's face from the extra fuel. Once that was changed out, whoa baby
Friend of mine wasn't so lucky, he didn't know his engine was bouncing off the limiter with a 375 shot. It eventually ate up a couple pistons.

I had a 150 shot come back out the way it went in. Taking the air cleaner assembly, filter, fan shroud, and the hood (fiberglass) with it. Although it was pretty cool seeing the big fireball on the windsheild.

That happened to the friend with the 375 shot hehe. No aircleaner though, just a nice fireball coming up out of the cowl hood. The engine was running rich and when he didn't clear the plugs, BOOOOOOM huge fireball but didn't hurt anything.

(not mine) no fuel on a 3.1 v6 and got lean, took the ground strap off of the spark plug and the valve happened to shut on it (or so we think) lost comp. on that cyl and was going out the valve (so with the damaged plug we think that is what happened) that was a fun car! but, we are crazy and where having fun.
oh the second worse thing is the empty tank
it's all fun till it runs out
