will my engine blow up?

sometime in the near future (probably over the summer sometime) i want to invest in a used turbo, possibly two.. thing is, as me and my friend were talkin about this, he said my engine would probably blow up.. it has 95,000 miles on it.. should i completely abandon the idea of getting a turbo?

I turbocharged my 180,000 mile 2.8 V6 to 10 psi and it didn't blow up. It had 172k on it when I installed the turbo system and 184k when I yanked it to install a 3400v6.

Make sure the tune (A/F ratio and timing) is correct, and it will run well for many moons.
