Spreadbore Nitrous Plate, why is the tube in the middle?

I am looking at a nitrous plate for a spreadbore style (quadra) intake, but they seem to have put the spray tube in the middle going front to back, umm, thats where my edlebrock intake has a little wall because its a dual plane. WTF!
