What To Do To Supercharge An L98?
What must be done to supercharge an L98? Will the motor need to be worked on? Or will the bottom end hold up? Will forged parts be needed? Compression changes? Fuel Delivery? Spark? I am looking at buying an L98 GTA or IROC in a few months and think supercharging it would be a good way to go.
Minus the cost of the supercharger itself, how much do you think it will be to properly prepare the care for a supercharger?
Thanks guy!!
PS: Don't worry, I am doing alot of searching, but hearing it first hand is always good.

Welcome
Ill great ya with a nice SEARCH, honestly this Forum has one of the best searches i use on the 6 or so forums i try to stay up todate on.
First thing you need to ask yourself, is what do i want this car to do, and how much money you would like to spend.
If you build a motor for lets say 12lbs of boost, with all forged parts, and a compression of 9:1 and go with some AFR 195 Heads, then ur looking at atleast $5,000 for the engine, and another 2800-3800 for the Supercharger, Companies that make kits are Vortech and Procharger, im biased to Procharger, only becuase i like some of the technologies they put into thier headunits, plus they are 5min away from me
